McDonald Water Storage Appoint Jason Hobson as Divisional Director

McDonald Engineers HQMcDonald Water Storage has appointed Jason Hobson as its new Divisional Director for England.

The appointment is seen as a real statement of intent in the company’s plans to significantly grow sales of its copper hot water cylinders across the whole of the UK.

Having spent over 13 years at Gledhill Cylinders, including 8 years as Managing Director, Jason brings a wealth of experience from all levels of the hot water cylinder market.

In his new role with McDonald Water Storage, Jason will be responsible for achieving strong growth in the English market, building a technical infrastructure for England and sales infrastructure focussed on key strategic markets together with enhancing its distribution network which capitalises on the company’s unique solution and capability.

Jason commented, “I have known Jamie and the team at McDonald Water Storage for several years and have been impressed with their commitment to growing the business in the right way with their niche product range.”

He continued, “Whilst many businesses have focused on high volume, standard stainless steel unvented units, there remains a significant market opportunity for bespoke copper cylinders, commercial calorifiers and specialist hot water storage solutions such as its CUBEflow rectangular hot water tanks.”
